KnowledgeMike Savlen: Students look at the painter Savlen, who uses the light at sunset and sunrise to inform the colour of his painting. Students learn to paint using expressive brushstrokes and focus on how mark marking can create form, texture and shape ROA: Students look into the impact of street art and the effect work has on the environment it is placed in. Students work with multiple media’s to achieve textureShawn Kenny: Students explore how 3D objects are portrayed using oil pastel and paint. Students learn to take photographs to work from.Andrew Joyce: Students explore how line is used to create detailed work. Students work closely using tone to create depth and shape when drawing.Karl Blossfelt: Students explore the relationship between wet and dry materials. Students explore the natural forms around them and document their findings through photography.Kate Malone: Students explore the 3D work of ceramicist Kate Malone. Students learn how to create 3D form using clay.
